The Balancier Contemporain is one of the most successful designer watches in Greubel Forsey’s far more classically designed collection. Similar to all Greubel Forsey projects, it is well-conceived, well-made, as well as expensive. Today, it is virtually sold out. The Balancier Contemporain will make its final visual appeal before it is permanently ceased in the form of a 33-piece stainless-steel limited edition.

Feedback about Greubel Forsey seems to fall into two classes, those who can’t afford the idea, like me, and those who is able to. Some people really like the Convexe series because of their sporty layout, while others, like me, apparently prefer the more traditional series. I do think this watch is an excellent sort of Greubel Forsey’s exquisite the making of watch and craftsmanship. The orange dial is a bit bold intended for my taste, but it improves the presentation of this watch.
